A rose gold bear themed party? Nailed it haha. It’s taken me so long to get this post live. It’s been sitting here ever since and then the world kinda turned upside down and I forgot! But I’ve still got so much to share. Today’s post is all about bear and rose gold themed decor for a birthday party.
When I set out the idea of a bear theme, it was because Norah adores “We’re going on a bear hunt”, I knew I wanted it to be done nicely. So I tracked down some new bits and some pieces we already had to make it look perfect for her party.
Most of the rose gold pieces we already had leftover from my Mum’s birthday party 2 years ago. The rose gold flower garland we got for Edith’s birthday from Ginger Ray.
We used our own helium pump to inflate the balloons and the kids loved them! The 2 balloon was from Asda we wanted a rose gold one but typically they were out of stock but I think the silver worked just a nicely!
We also picked the cake stand up from Amazon too for less than £7. It worked perfectly for the cake and the fact it was plastic meant we didn’t have to worry about the kids knocking in to it as much!
The bear cake topper was one I made myself, you can see my tutorial here. The acrylic personalised cake topper was a beautiful gift from @WildoneandI .
I had seen the idea of serving milkshakes from the bear bottles on Pinterest but I found it hard to find any UK suppliers. I tracked some down in the end and only paid around £10 for the bottles and postage combined from Thorne . These went down so well and the girls love to have drinks out of them even now.
The paper straws were from Amazon and worked perfectly in the drinks. We also picked up a pastel party set, full of cups, plates and napkins. They worked perfectly alongside the Meri Meri Bear Napkins.
It was such a lovely family party, I do have to admit when it comes to parties I go big but I absolutely love putting everything together! A rose gold bear themed party would be a lovely theme for a lockdown birthday too.
I have one more post coming all about the food (you’ve already seen the bear paw biscuits!) and it’s a great one, so make sure you pop back for that later this week!
