It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ( I bet you sang that as you read it!). But it is very true and Christmas will be here before we know it. I for one am feeling pretty disorganised this year which is quite unlike me. I kind of know what I’m getting people I just haven’t done it yet.
One thing I do have sorted however is a beautiful range of Christmas goodies courtesy of The Grosvenor Harrods Christmas Hamper. Stuffed full of the most wonderful food, drink and sweets (and not forgetting their signature bear) it really does get you into the Christmas spirit.
If there’s a time for luxury and indulgence it is definitely Christmas and this Harrods Christmas Hamper does not disappoint at all. We may have tried a few bits before the big day, of all in the name of research and an honest review of course.
When you open the hamper up it is truly like Christmas morning. The hamper is so beautifully packed and each time you dig into the packaging there’s a new goodie to pull out. We of course went straight to the spiced tea. Oh my. It’s Christmas in a cup, my Mum and husband had a mince pie with theirs while I broke into the dark chocolate hazelnut biscuits. It was such a treat.
My husband was over the moon to discover the marmalade, which he’s forgotten about, so I might pop that as a little stocking filler it would make such a lovely gift. The hamper is full of so many treats. Christmas pudding, which is being saved until Christmas, cocoa dusted almonds, spiced tea and coffee, mustard, mulled berry jam (which sounds incredible!) cranberry and clementine fudge and the most important part of the hamper for Edith.
Can you guess what, or should I say who that was? Bertie the bear. Every year Harrods release a Christmas bear and this years is just adorable. His little zip up jacket and he is so soft. Bertie is being kept out of the way until we get closer to Christmas as he’s so lovely.
We’ve never had such a luxurious gift and it’s just the most beautiful Christmas gift. It would make the perfect present for a family or why not treat yourself to some luxury this Christmas? I know my family can’t wait to tuck into the Christmas pudding, jams and mustard.
The Grosvenor Harrods Christmas Hamper definitely gets the thumbs up from us. The beautiful hamper it’s self is going to make a wonderful toy box for all those Christmas presents.
Is it too early to say Merry Christmas?
The hamper was kindly sent to us from Harrods. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to the brands that support Little Paper Swans. I wouldn’t be here without you.
