I know a lot of people are holding on to summer still but I’m very much ready for Autumn to sneak it’s way in. The cosy evenings, the build up to Halloween, Bonfire Night and then Christmas. It’s so cliche but its my favourite time of year. Of course Autumn also means a wardrobe update. I’m not quite sure what my wardrobe update will look like with this little bump I’m sporting already but I know that Edith’s wardrobe will be amazing. Don’t you find that as a parent? Your kids clothes are far nicer than your own. These beautiful pieces from Vertbaudet are no exception. I would have all of these in my size. Although I might get some odd looks.
Denim is one of my favourite materials on Edith although it has to be soft and easy to get on and off. This dress (Edith’s is now sold out but there is a similar one here) ticks all the boxes. It also ticks the box for embroidery which I absolutely adore. It’s such a gorgeous dress and I know it will be worn a lot over the next few months.
Edith’s never been a pretty pink kind of girl. I love colour on here, which is odd considering there’s not a whole load of colour in my wardrobe. I absolutely adore this mustard cardigan. It’s chunky knit and is going to be so perfect for when that autumn chill hits and then layered under a thick coat in the Winter.
And talking of Winter. How gorgeous are these boots? Tan with a fringe trim. They are Edith’s first boots as last year she wasn’t walking and then when she was she went straight into little trainers. I can’t tell you how much they made me squeal with happiness. It was one of those firsts that although isn’t that important it’s a big deal for me. It was a milestone I had cemented in my mind and now we are there.
Vertbaudet have some gorgeous transitional pieces for Autumn and I’ve already got a bit of a wishlist going on and I need to take a look at their baby and maternity bits too. Vertbaudet also have some great discount codes and offers too, which is perfect for when your little one needs a new wardrobe of clothes.
Please tell me I’m not the only one counting down the days until Autumn really starts?
