If you’ve been reading my blog a while you will know that my passion lies with thrift/vintage and doing things on a small budget and I’m never too far from a charity shop so I thought that it would be a perfect time to share with you my finds. Like these two tea cups. I only owned one tea cup, a special one that my Mum bought me for my 21st. So when I popped into town and saw these pretty little cups for only 50p each I had to have them. I love the speckled one so much.
But I didn’t want to just include things I’ve spent money on but things I’ve found. Like this little deer, found in a toy box of animals at my Mums. I had to have her as soon as I found her. She’s too pretty and she sits proudly on my tv unit. I’ve also re-purposed a jam jar for flowers. I’ve picked Honesty and Bluebells from my garden and I think they look perfect in the jar.
We’ve been given a bedside table from the Mr’s brother. I’ve been after one for a while so we have one each side of the bed. I’m going to paint them and I can’t wait to make it look pretty. I’m not sure what’s going on them but I’m very inspired by Kate’s!
I’m hopefully off to the carboot this Sunday, my first for the year, so I may find some little bits to buy!
