Another magazine freebie review! On the copy of this months Red magazine was this beautiful REN skincare kit and who am I to refuse free skincare? So I snapped it up. The kit contains the Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream Sensitive, Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel and Vetiver v7 Hand and Body Cream.
Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream Sensitive: Now this is the product I am in love with and I’m going to be gutted when I use it up. I have been using for the past week and I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not but my skin has cleared up. The formula is light but really nourishing for my skin. It feels plumped and smooth. It retails at £27 for 50ml! Which for a budget beauty girl is a lot of money! But it does an amazing job. I am finding that using more expensive skincare works far better than cheaper skincare and I do have a love for expensive skincare at the minute!
Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel: I’ve been using the eye cream every other night. Eye cream is something I’m trying to get into the habit of using next year I reach the grand old age of 20 and so I’m starting to panic about wrinkles (how vain of me?). This eye cream really cools the area around my eyes and it makes them feel less puffy! Always a good thing. It doesn’t help my dark circles but I don’t think anything will. I do like this eye cream but I’m not to bothered about repurchasing it. It retails at £20 for 15ml. If someone wants to buy it for me then I’ll happily accept!
Vetiver v7 Hand and Body Cream: To be honest body cream is body cream to me. I’ve been using lots of different ones and enjoyed them. This is no exception. It is a really nice cream leaves my skin feeling super smooth and it’s nice as it has no scent, so you can put any perfume over the top. I found this cream great for putting on my legs after I had shaved them, I find that some creams make my legs sting! I do love this product and with a price tag of £9 it’s not too pricey!
Did you get the REN skincare kit? What are your thoughts?
